Welcome to MockMaster AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MockMaster AI mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by MockMaster AI ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using MockMaster AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

MockMaster AI is an artificial intelligence-powered interview coaching application that provides mock interview practice sessions, real-time speech recognition, AI-generated feedback and scoring, resume scanning, and performance analytics. The Service is designed to help users prepare for job interviews and is available on iOS and Android platforms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using MockMaster AI, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update your information if it changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Plan: MockMaster AI offers a free tier with limited features, including 3 mock interviews per month and access to 10 job roles.

Pro Plan: The Pro subscription ($9.99/month) provides unlimited interviews, access to all 50+ job roles, advanced AI feedback, resume scanning, performance analytics, all 11 languages, and full interview history.

Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to the payment terms of the applicable store platform. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Share, resell, or redistribute your account access
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Automate access to the Service through bots, scripts, or other automated means

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, AI models, content, and underlying technology, is owned by MockMaster AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service (such as interview recordings and resumes). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

The interview questions, feedback, scores, and recommendations provided by MockMaster AI are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for educational and practice purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. AI feedback should not be considered professional career advice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We do not guarantee that using MockMaster AI will result in a job offer or successful interview outcome. Results depend on many factors beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOCKMASTER AI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MockMaster AI from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MockMaster AI is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
